Diplomate examinations, set and marked independently
The International Board of Examiners is responsible for every Diplomate examination given within the ICAK. It operates independently of the teaching faculty, so that the practitioners who set and mark the examinations are not the practitioners who taught the candidates.

Examination dates, fees and applications
The IBE runs its own website, where candidates find current examination dates, the syllabus, fees and the application process. Those are set by the board itself rather than by the ICAK office, so the IBE's site is always the authoritative source.
